I have had a chance to buy a Case CAI from an estate. It is rusty and it has sat outside for a long time. It doesn't run but the motor is not stuck because it rolls while in gear and you can hear the cylinders rotate. Does anyone know what it is worth?

I am not sure but I know it was used back in the forties to mow road right of ways. It has a hydraulic cylinder on the belly of the tractor.

Sounds like a VAI to me. They were used a lot by highway crews to mow, and usually had a sickle bar mower underneath. If its complete and loose, I'd expect to pay around $650-$1000 if it still has the mower on it, nd its in good shape. Good Luck!
