Case 1952 DC Belt...how does it go on?

I broke the generator belt and in looking at it I have to remove the fan belt to install it. The problem is I don't see anywhere to adjust the pulleys on the fan belt to take it off. It appears to run off a "fixed" pulley on the bottom and the top does not appear to have any place to loosen the tension on the belt. Help!
Thanks

Take a closer look at the fan pulley. You should see a few bolts around it (should be three) The fan pulley splits apart somewhat like a snowmobile. Loosen the bolts, and you may need a punch or something to push the pulley half. It is a joy to get the belt around the fan, but it is possible. Be careful! The metal is fairly thin and bends easily.(I found out the hard way) I hope this helps!
