I have found a Case 200B Triple Range for sale for $3000. It seems to run fine but could use some cleaning up. I haven't been able to find much information on the 200B. I was told it is a 1957 model. I calculated the Hp to be about 33 based on a displacement of 126.5 cubic inches, 7.5 compression ratio and a "full Load Engine Speed" of 1900 RPMs, is this correct? Is this a good deal? Are there particular problems with this model or transmission? I plan to use this for mowing and around the farm for general-purpose work. Any information would help? Thanks, Tom Moore

Thanks for the feedback, I'm starting to think it is a little overpriced. The fact I can't find much information on it makes me think that parts may be hard to come by..... ....Tom

I have a Case 300. I paid $1,600 for it. It had a bad rod bearing, a broken grill, and no lights when I got it. On the 300 (and I assume the 200 is similar) the triple range transmission serves as the reservour for the hydraulic pump. Keep a check on the oil level. It doesn't have a live PTO as such. It has a hand clutch lever that allows you to stop the tractor wheels and leave the PTO running. Sorry, I don't know the rated horsepower of the 200.
