I'm going to try and post a picture of the 1952 DC3 that my father and I just restored. I hope the picture shows up, I have never posted one on here before. It took us about 6 months to get it looking good again. She runs like a sewing machine, the more we run it the smoother it gets. We didn't have to go into the engine just new plugs and mag and it started right up. It was in real bad shape when I bought it. It had been sitting for over 7 years outside that the previous owner new about, and he never tried to get it running. Let me know what you think.

Travis

The only other places that I can think of would be in magazine classifieds such as: Old Abes News, Heritage Eagle, or Antique Power.

That sure is one fine looking DC. Have you got any bigger copies of those photos you can e-mail me? I'd like to save them for inspiration on my project...

Thanks in advance,

Man, that's abeautiful job.

You wouldn't want to come over and do that to my '49 DC-3, would ya? (grin)

SWEET! Have any "before" pictures? We have a '51 dad bought new. From the angle of your picture they're identical. Dad's doesn't have live pto or eagle hitch though. They are wonderful tractors! Fine job! Glenn F.

Here is a "before" picture. This was right after I got it running. I had to "borrow" several parts off of a 1950 model to get it running. Now I have the itch to get the '50 model going.
