Am looking for info pertaing to dissassembly and available parts for regulator and carberator on a 1956 Case 400 LP tractor. Has trouble starting but runs just fine. Any and all advice will be apreciated....thanks

Phil, What make are the carb. and reg.? I am not sure but I think Case used Ensign as OEM My son has a moline LP and it is also an Ensign, you usually have to choke it when starting, but the choke must be pulled all the way, there is no partial choke as on a gasoline engine. The bad news is there are NO parts availble for the Ensign sys. there is a company called Impro that makes LP systems,most of the tractor pullers are using this system. I have an I&T manual and it gives some info. on LP Case. Email me if I can help you further

Hi I have a 1955 Case 400 LP and the regulator is bad I think because it keeps freezing up and wont crank I read your form if you could e-mail me any info that might help me would be great!! and Thanks!!!!
