Just purchased a 2290 case 1983. The 3 point lift does not work all other hyd. seem to be ok (remotes PTO Powershift Breaks ) The tractor only has 3000 hrs. Can anybody help. Thanks Dennis

for me it is always the draft control look right below the pto shaft you will see a shaft going across to the three point arms there is a small button that should ride against the shaft make sure it is in the right position.

I found the button I can move it in and out by hand but it does not touch the shaft. There are two eye bolts that go around the shaft do these need to be adjusted? Thanks DKHall

Hey DK: First place I'd look is @ the cable running from the handle down to the valve. Check that out & get back.

Both main control and draft control cables work fine. There are two metal straps one on each side that run from under the tractor to were the 3 pt. lift arms hookup. One of thes are broken could this cause a problem? Thanks DK
