Connected the large orange wire to the postive lug on the alternator, #2 on the plug brought down and connected to positive lug on alternator, #1 wiring on plug connected to smaller brown wire, started tractor and charge was 14.6 vdc and full throttle, does this sound correct to you all
Also, one more question, had a ticking sound by one of my power cells, the little parts where you put the screw in to pull the outer cap of the power cell was broke off, just removed it and replaced cap, still hear some ticking , it comes and goes, very intermittent. Any thought.
Please feel free to call me 1-800-833-7492 ect 45601 I work until 1:30 daily, MN time
Thanks in advance.
Mike

Hello Mike
Sounds like you go the alt going good. As far as the ticking that could be hard to say whats up with that. Lots of them old tractors make some funny noises with out it being nothing.
