I know this is not the bobcat forum but when I run my 731 for about 15 to 20 minutes the drive goes soggy, will not turn and barely goes forward or backwards. Replaced the hydraulic filter but did not matter, Is the pump shot and would anyone out there please give me info on good place to buy parts, get info etc
Thanks in advance
Mike

Have you checked the port block filter?

It is located on top of the charge pump, looking inwards from the bucket you will see 3 hoses on the left hand side going into a square block of steel. Behind the middle fitting is a bronze filter, it is 50 or 70 micron, i'n not too sure. When this becomes blocked it starves the hydrostatic pump and causes it to growl and you will have little or no power. I suggest you buy a new one as they can be a pest to clean. I soaked mine in Kerosene and blew it out with a pressure washer, it took a few attempts to get it rite. It works like a charm now.
