Looking for some information on the Case 1200. Anyone know how many were built and if they are rare?
Thanks

Thanks for the info. I was pretty sure they were low production. A little heavy for a show tractor but certainly a conversation piece.

I am sure some might not like the reference to Deere but it would be in the same ballpark as a 8020 Deere. I think they are 15,000 - 17,000 lbs, four wheel drive, and fairly modern for their time. Alot of tractor.

Built '66 to 69. Just had ours out yesterday evening. The motor is a 451 turbo, the axles are from a Clark front end loader, the tranny I am not sure. I ve heard many people repower them with 300 commins and have no problems. The drive train is bulletproof. The whole tractor is tought and easy to work on.

1200 had a 451 with turbo, front and rear steer, very nice, BIG tractor. A friend has one he is starting to restore, I love to see them "crab" sideways. Cool option

We sold ours about 12 years ago as parts were getting hard to find already. If I'm not mistaken it has a 1030 engine. Good, simple tractor. Glenn F.

A friend of mine in Lebonon Indiana has one restored. Awesome looking tractor. He has over 100
restored Case tractors, all variations, Orchards, Military, even a cross motor.
