Someone said it was where eng. bolts to rear end, in center of tractor....?????
Is it on the bell housing, or what would be the bell housing on a car?
Can someone describe its location more specifically? On top, right or left side? How far back from end of eng. block? No plates near gauges or firewall either.

There is no plate, it is stamped into the casting
on the end of the block on a lip where the block attaches to the rearend. It is on the left hand side, on a DC, directly right of the air breather oil cup. If you don't know what that is, it is what the carb is hooked to. I hope this helps.
