My cousin has a powershift problem in a 1070 case, said it was all working fine then the tractor would not move when powershift was in 1st. He said it wanted to stall the tractor when he let out the clutch, all other gears work and 2nd and 3rd in the powershift work fine. Any suggestions. No noises prior to this. Just stopped working.

Jim is correct. Also if this problem keepw up I have put a c-4 pilot spring in the c-3 as it is a little stronger.

That's a good tip, Roy. I hope I can remember that.

C-3 pilot is sticking. Remove the platform plate to get to the ROPS valve. C-3 plug is second from right, on the rear of the valve. A long stove bolt will screw into the pilot spool, use it to pull spool out. Metal or something is causing the spool to stick open. Polish the spool, use a wooden dowel with emery cloth to polish the inside of valve, then try the spool to see if everything is okay. Just happened on my 2470 two weeks ago.
