1946 VAC Oil pressure gauge fitting size?

Hi,

I bought a new set of gauges for my old VAC and the fitting for the oil pressure tube is different at both ends. The new tube has a 1/8" NTP female that wants to go onto the "L" coming out of the block. Can someone tell me what the size and thread of this fitting is? None of the adaptors supplied with the gauge kit fit!

For what it is worth they look really nice. I got a set of 3 Sunpro gauges (white with orange needles) at the local autozone. The temp gauge went right in. The oil pressure is giving me some gruff, and I am going to have to do some retrofitting to put the volt meter in place of the old ampmeter. It has already been converted to 12V.

The original fitting on the block is a pipe to tube elbow. 1/8" npt on the block and 3/16" tube compression fitting for the gauge line.
