My VAC is leaking right behind the seat around the (I'm assuming) the hydraulic oil pump. It leaks when I'm using the 3 pt. Does anyone know where I can get a new gasket and how hard is it to replace? Thanks in advance!!

I'll also 'a$$-u-me' for a moment that if you have a '56 what you have behind the seat is a rockshaft assembly not the pump. The pump is located up front on the govenor housing. If I'm wrong then what you have was created out of wedlock and I can't help.
The rockshaft has three places where leaks can develop. 1) The cylinder 'O' rings which will leak into the housing and drain from the right side. 2) The seal on the operate valve on the depth control. 3) The seal on the release valve also on the depth control. One of 2) 3) is an 'O' ring but I'm away from home and books so I can't tell you which. The cylinder can be tested by disconnecting the small tube on the side of the housing. If oil comes out it's a good bet the rings are leaking.
The depth control is located under the right end of the rockshaft. This requires some dismantling to get a good look.
I urge you to get a parts manual(catalog) from your Case dealer. Also a shop manual for instructions.
I hope this helps and good luck

Sam
