The search thing seems to be not working. What can you tell me about the 2094? Was it considered a good tractor or a lemon? What did it have for a transmission? Any outstamding problems?

2094 is same as 2090 but has electric controled powershift. It has 504 engine without turbo rated at 110 horsepower on the PTO. Very good tractor. Stan

Is that powershift dependable? Friend looking at this tractor once had a bad exprience with transmission on , I think, a 13xx something. All in all, it was a real looser.

Hey Coloken: No better tractor built. My 2094 has close to 7,000 hrs. & the Power Shift has never been touched. Smooth as silk. I have 3 CASE tractors with the RPS34 Power Shift and they are all very dependable. As with any CASE engine, keep the ether can away.

Hey you might have a record there. Best I ever saw was a Case 500 with 9000 hours and running like new. Best I ever ran was a CK 930. Blamed its long life on the fact that it had a second oil bath after the dry air cleaner. Had 7000 on my 1200 when I traded it off. Only thing with it was antifreez seep into crankcase during winter. Used coop 15/40 diesel in every thing I had. I'm wondering if that 2094 engine is the same basic 930/1030/1200 block that was so good?

If your tractor has 14,000 hours on it and it has never been touched you better be thinking about a set of bearings. My 970 had 9,000 hours when I installed new bearings. When I started it up I was surprised to notice that it had been knocking. I had a wore out 830 several years ago that was not worth replacing the bearings. At about 15,000 hours the tabs wore off a rod bearing and it spun. Then it was not worth anything.

Hey Ketch: 14,000 hours is a lot of hours for any engine. What is your secret? I go 100 hours between oil changes. I don't use Pennzoil or Quaker State. Absolutely no ether.
