My 1070 starts losing power and missing after working it for a while when this happens if I stop and idle it for a while it will run normal again then after a while it will act up again I just replaced all of the fuel filters and still no change. I was wondering if it could need new injectors? If it is the injectors is it worth getting them tested and rebuilt or just better to buy new ones? Thanks in advance

Thanks for the tips I think that it is the screen in the tank because everything else is working ok. I have to drain the tank and check it out.

Keith, I know on the 1030's they had a transfer pump. Look from under the tractor in between the injector pump & engine, If it's the same there will be 2 lines going to it and 2 little bolts holding it on. Have it tested at a diesel injection shop. I Hope this Helps Jeff.

It will also have a little screen on the shut off valve in the fuel tank that will plug with stuff. Also I have seen it jell it the winter with fuel. This would explain why it will run for a bit then start missing.
