I have a 1370 with cab, fan works.
a/c does not work! Where is the recharge point for this unit? I presume on the low side of the compressor but physically where is it located? I have some duracool 12 that I believe will work for this vintage of unit. Same as r12

I believe it is a older tractor because it has sight glasses on the trans. And a parking pall type of trans.

Schrader valves are on compressor. Also may want to locate low presssure cut-out switch and see if you have 12 volts to it when AC should be running.

Actually your 1370 is a later one if it has the Park pawl and not the cable/lever on the floor. My old 1370 and 1175 both use the over-center lever on the flor.

thanks for the tips guys I will give it a try on finding the valves and low pres switch. It sure runs good and has lots of power for an older tractor. But AC will help on these 85+ deg days.

Where can I get a dip stick for the trans? Dealer sold it with just a cover. Local dealer says "not avialable". From what I have heard I should not rely on the sight glasses.

Both high (discharge) and low (suction) should be marked right on top of the compressor.
