This is my first time using this board, and I have to say I'm very impressed. Reminds me once again why I enjoy antique tractors so much,..it's not only the tractors but the great people helping one another that makes restoration what it is! THANK YOU!!

I would say its an RC. They built 2,903 R series in 1940, 2,250 in 1939, and 6,200 in 1938, but I would say only the last ones were built "styled" with the sunburst grill. It has the Waukesha engine that tested at Nebraska in 1938 at max of 20 brake HP and 15 drawbar HP. I"m thinking of getting an RC one day, so I have been doing a little reading on them.

I have all kinds of projects going and really am not sure when I'd have time to restore this tractor. Would you (or someone you know) have some interest in it?

I'd be glad to visit with you on the phone and can e-mail you any pictures that would be helpful.
Thanks!
Dennis (Don)

Hey Dennis,
I could be interested in it. It depends on where it is and how much, for what condition. I"m thinking about an RC up in MN. Trying to convince myself that I need it and if I want another none running tractor. Email me and we will talk about it
