Can't even use

Just recently one of our 1070's has decided it be time to join the others in having tranny problems. First one had the Belleville Ring on the flywheel get weak and eat the torque limiter plate up (just fixed that), second one has evidently sheared off the bolts holding C2 and C3 together or the seals there are shot (waiting for time to split this one) and now this one grinds the gears when you step on the "clutch" pedal. Doesn't matter how long you hold it nor what gear. Thinkin maybe the three double springs that push the reaction plates apart on C1. Anyone have any other possible ideas, don't have time now to split this one but it is next and looks like maybe in about a week and a half. Just curious as to what to really check for. Thanks, Shane

Make sure the clutch linkage is right. You might have to adjust the stop bolt so the pedal goes down far enough to move the inching spool to the end of its travel.

C-4 stops the tranny to let you shift. The clutch plate may be shot, or the o-rings on the piston.

Yep you are right! Still looks to be a realtively easy fix, ha ha! Hopefully the parts tractor has good parts if I need them. Thanks
