my 2290 powershift only works in the 1st gear of each range. when i shift into 2nd or 3rd it will stop pulling. it does not stop abruptly however. i have cleaned the powershift control and replaced the springs in the valves as well as replaced the powershift spool itself. the service manual does not describe this problem. can anybody help? thanks

Sounds like the clutch pack sheared off the bolts that hold it together. Possible the clutches are ate up too. Gonna cost around $3000 min if you take it in or more. Do it yourself and it will cost half that. Just split a 1070 that had the same problem, not too bad. You don't have to take the cab off to split.
