I don't know where you can find the results at, but I do know that my brother has a "red book" and if I remember right the DC is rated at 38 hp, I always thought that they were way under rated because the one we had pulled like it had about 45 hp

they wil put out about 45 hp with the 4 1/16 bore M&W kit in it. With 3 7/8 stock bore, it is 37.5 hp.

The only thing that has ever been done to this tractor is the Magneto taken off and replaced with a distributor. I don't know if they are all like this, maybe this one is exceptional. Dad bought it new in 1956 when the dealer got the 400s in and it was our big tractor for years we even pulled a 7 shank chisel plow with it. It still uses no oil and is used everyday on the farm, my little brother has it on the TMR wagon. If every tractor was built like this one people would never have to buy a new one, the only thing that he did have to do was put a new clutch in it about ten years ago.
