I"ve never been around a 2096, so I don"t know if you have a mechanical primer on the pump. I have a 2470 that"s almost that way. I have to pump the primer until I feel resistance, then it will start like it should. Maybe fuel is leaking back into the fuel tank on your tractor, like mine is doing. It"s worth a try.

Trader,

Don"t know where you are. What sort of overnight temperatures do you have this time of year?

Larry
