2290 power shift i was driving down the road when it just stopped pulling hydraulics all work steering works no trans power push clutch in no noise does the hyd. run off the flywheel or limiter clutch? haven't checked the press. at the body yet leaning toward the limiter clutch any thoughts.

Power shift is stuck in Hi, I replaced the filters and this made no differance.I need some help!! Thanks Joe

I would think you would not have hyd or steering if torque limiter is out.Somebody correct me if Im wrong.

Hey Trader: Is the P/S on that 2290 electric? The same thing happened on my 2094 & it was a fuse. Doubtful the 90 series had electrics yet, but worth checking out.

no electric shift,guess i'll opener up,you ever had to replace the printed circuit board in the console? i called dealer to order one on a 2096 he said it was the second one that week.

That is exactly what happened when my 2090 torque limiter crapped out. If you have the ability to split the tractor it is not a big job. LOL DK
