Hey FIT,
Congrats on the plow. You got a nice unit there. You can't always tell by pictures but it looks like you got one with pretty good points and mold boards. If you get tired of it, let me know. My vac dreams about having an eagle hitch someday. The 2 12's should work good in your soil. In the days of moldboard plowing, dad pulled 2 14's in tight soil. It was 2nd gear and a hard pull. The little wart didn't complain about it though. I think you have enough paint to tell what color to paint it to.

WS:

I really do need to find a Case Green paint code (I think I grabbed one once from another message). Several folks said that Oliver Green would get you very close. As I recall on our cultivators and plow, it looked alot like Oliver green.

I think it"s going to be a nice fit on the ole" VAC. My soil is so sandy without much clay that I"ll probably have trouble getting the stuff to turn over and stay over!

The following are the numbers I have for Case Implement Green. Case #B13013, PPG #40249, NAPA #99L8748. I have never tried any of these, but I will as soon as I get my plow sand blasted. I have a 3-14 plow something like yours, may be a little newer model. I pull it behind my DC-3 with eagle hitch. Hope this may help.

Thank you Gary! I'll likely try some of the DAR 40249 from PPG.
