I have found a 1953 case vac 14 that is in very good condition I would like to knowif anyone knows the horse power. This tractor has new rebuilt engine new paint an decals how much would be a good price.Thanks for any information.

It will pull a 2-bottom 12-inch plow and run a 5ft. bush hog. It has to be around 20 horsepower. Value depends on where you live. i would guees it is worth between $1,800 and $2,500. You probably couldn't get $2,500 for it here in WV, but you probably could get $2,500 or more for it in other areas where Case's are more popular.

Go to the top of the page and access the Case forum. In the sidebar you will see a 'VA profile.'
It states sixteen HP. I've read some say as high as twenty-two with the gasoline engine.

I bought this 1952 VAC-13 with the new scraper/scarifier for $1900 last fall out of Northern, WI. The engine runs fine, but is not overhauled and does blow a little smoke at start up.

Thanks for the information do you know the horse power. I have a 1966 ferguson To 35 it is a powerful little machine. I really like this case a would like to know a little more about vac14 I have made several trips to look at this tractor hear it run drive it my friends say I should just buy it. I was looking at it before I bought the ferguson I need a tractor to work.

If your tractor has just been overhauled it may well have oversise pistons. It is not as powerful as the Ferg. TO35. I would guess it at 25-28hp.
