I was wondering what a 69 530 backhoe would sell for, Engine runs good, starts fast, smokes very little. loader and hoe operate good, small leak in a couple hyd. cylinders. tires are good, looks clean. brakes questionable. also has new head gasket. Info greatly appreciated.

I sold my diesel 530 for just under $6000 last year. It was in good shape. I saw one advertised this morning which was gas and said it needed a little work. They wanted $4000 for it. I've seen them from about $2500 to $6000. Hope that helps some.

Thank you, I forgot to say this one is diesel also. I dont know if that makes it worth more.

I paid $2800 for a 63 530CK diesel backhoe. Engine was knocking when I bought it, turned out to have a bad rod bearing which trashed the rod and crank. The rebuild is costing me more than I had planned but I still think I got a good deal.

How much less would a gas model be worth? Do they perform any different or just cost more to run? Thanks

Brad K, I like the pictures on your site! Please post more and can you comment on the progress. How is it trying to find parts? I'm looking at something similar. Thanks again, Greg
