I just purchased a 2470 the 3 point wont lower any suggestions on where I should start also the tractor seems to steer hard is this normal,I realize there is a lot of weight there and was wondering if the 2 could be connected, also I think this tractor was stored for a while but everything else works and runs fine,a real clean and good looking, and running tractor. thanks for any info

I had the same problem with my 630. I used a skid loader to push them down with the valve in lower position like John says. After about the third time they went down on their own. Good luck!

Hey Bob: I had the same problem with a 4690. The linkage was all seized. With the engine off, and the valve in the Lowering position, we used a Loader to push it down.
