Have 2390 and the problem is while driving forward either in 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th and the power shift is in 1, with 1/2 throttle and you go to stop and depress the clutch everything appears okay, but if powershift is in 2 or 3 and you go to stop and depress the clutch all the way the power shift lever moves to 1 and it just about throws you threw the front window, If I pull the throttle back seems to do better. Is there something wrong or it is operator error. Any information is apprecicated. Thank You

I would have to agree on it being operator error but to the point of not fixing the real problem which is most likely out of adjustment like "turbo" said. Not sure if the actual adjustments he gave are correct but I do beleive you have two clutches engaged for a second or two longer than they should be. Oh, and we have had many Cases and logged thousands and thousands of hours on them and often step on the clutch when in 3rd powershift with little problems. Of course on the road it is best to throttle back and then clutch or pull back but if everything is adjusted correctly I don't think you will damage anything.

If this is an aggressive stop with cold oil and less with warm oil, C-3 retard screw is in too far. Turn it counter-clockwise 1/4 turn at a time to eliminate the problem. This also controls the timing of the power shift clutches from 2nd to 1st.

operator error
the PS was designed so that when you step on the clutch it automatically shift down to start you out in 1st power range. I have heard it is not good for the sytem to do that all the time. on mine i try to throttle down, down shift, and then use the clutch. hope it helps. an operators manual would help more.
