hey my 2096 pto kicks out when i push clutch in no doubt pressure is dropping but were, oil distributer? have not checked any pressure,but pto doesn't slip ,if tractor is idling pto will kick out every time you clutch any thoughts?

I'm no expert but have experience with a 2094. If I understand right there is a clutch pack that engages PTO hydraulically. Could be clutches are wore or you are losing pressure hydraulically. If you have a repair manual you could look at the hydraulic schematic and see if there is some sort of valve that could be the problem. Anyone else have problems with the yellow tranny light coming on on the these tractors? Does this mean that the filters need changed?

Mine has a tendacy to do the same thing. I remember reading on here that was a somewhat typical problem

Look up PTO detent adjustment in manual. Sounds like detent needs to be tightened a bit.
