Can't even use

Recently acquired two inexpensive 1370's, one with a busted crank and one with a nasty growl in the rearend. Ended up with a decent $3500 1370 and a free complete parts tractor! Anyhow, the 3pt will fall as soon as you shut her down and while running they fall just a bit then raise back up constantly. What gives?

Yes I am in the SB area. I have a 400 but not sure if it is what you need. Email me and remind me cause I tend to forget stuff lately.... busy building a house and farming. You can come and look at it if you want just need to set up a time.

I had that happen to my 1370 several years ago, it was metal filings getting on top of the 3 point pistons & tearing up the seals so the oil went past the seals. The sleeves & pistons stand upright at the back of the tractor rear end, crawl under & find a pair of square plates probably at least an inch thick & maybe 6 inches square, they drop out the bottom which makes for an easier fix, you dont have to tear way into the rear end to solve this problem. Mine has been rock solid since replacing the sleeves & pistons.
