I have a 1410 David Brown and the 3 point hitch lifts really slow. It also goes down very slow. I have changed the fluid 2 times and it still does it. Can anyone give me an idea on why it is doing this. Thanks in advance for any help.

Go to the David Brown Web page for help. They will tell you how to change filters and clean out the drain plug. DB are known for their hydraulic problems. I had a 1210. The best tractor I ever owned, but had same issue. Once fixed (easy) the tractor will be a keeper. Good luck.

Well we had a 1410 case Damn Good Tractor, had it for 12 years then tried sellin the farm an the whole shbang,, but that didnt work out,, ended back farmin in less then a year after sellin the cows an equipment,, But I still Have the owners manuel for the 1410,,, This might sound simple but did ya try positioning the Arm Lowering Rate Control Knob?? Its on the right side of the tractor, right next to the back of the floor plate, right near the parking break control, and the hand lever controls.

Dont Know if this helps or heck Ya might of even tried it already,, But some times the simplest things can be the answer.

Sell it!!!! David brown is the most expensive tractor to work on!! Worked a case dealer for nine years and the lift on those things are a pain. Watch adjusting the cables if you try.
