I have a 1969 430 with a G188D engine. Can I put a gas engine in it? If so what one do I look for?

There is something that you may want to consider the 430 188-cid diesel is approx. an inch and a half longer than the 148 cid gas engine that came in the 430. So here it is again.
The 430 530 & 630 all had the 188 D engine in them, butt all of the smaller 30 series gas tractors had different size engines.
148 cid in the 430 159 in the 530 these two were shorter than there big brother,
The 630 had the 188-cid diesel that was converted over to gas. Now then because the gas motors were shorter there were factory adjustments made in the tin and linkage etc. But not to fear there is one other thing you can do. The 660 CASE combine had the 201 cid Gas that is the same length as the 188. The 201G has an external governor you could run it like that or a guy could convert it over.
