What does an 1l75 weight with an open canopy 4- post cab? Has 3-point, widefront, etc. Thanks!

Probably between 11000 and 11500 with single rears. It also depends on whether it has the cast iron hubs with rims or if it has the pressed steel. I've seen several people take those cast irons off the inside and put the pressed steel on to lower the weight.

I may be wrong but I do not think you can put pressed steel on a 1175. They have the outboard planetaries. They are one heavy beast.

You can't see the inside wheels in this picture but they are exactly like the outside duals. I just thought I'd like to show off the logo we use on our "Tractor Pulling" shirts. This picture was taken in 1980. 12,000 lb. dual wheel class. NO R-1 or radials allowed. The sled we used had a huge pan on the front of it. The 285 Massey, (9000 lb. class), is sitting on the sled pan. That old sled was hard to get started. Notice the box behind the Massey. It's almost topped out. That little 1175 was one tough old heifer. Got a Full Pull on this pull. Ended up with a 2nd in a pulloff with 2 other tractors that had an FP. Front was too light but it sure was a pretty pull.

1175 came from factory with outside pressed steel wheels that will bolt right up to the planetaries. We used to do that when we tractor pulled with our 1175. We could put a light set on the inside and another set on the outside and still pull in 12000 lb. dual wheel class. Dad still has a set of the light wheels with tires on them. The 1170 was a much heavier tractor with the HUGE cast iron hubs on inside AND outside. This, with other features, made the 1170 some 3000 lbs. heavier than the 1175.
