WHEN I WAS A KID WE HAD A 1090 CASE IT HAD POWERSHIFT. IT LOOKED JUST LIKE A 1070 EXCCEPT IT WAS MORE POWERFULL. AND HAD BIGGER TIRE'S.WOULD KICK BUTT TO.WE USED IT FOR THE TRACTOR PULL'S IN AREA'S AROUND US. FACTORY TRACTOR NO CHANGE'S. IN MY BOOK I GIVE IT A PERFECT 10 AS TO CASE'S REVENGE ON OTHER TRACTOR MANUFACTURE'S.FOR SIZE WEIGHT AND POWER IT WAS THE NUMBER 1 TRACTOR OF IT'S TIME.

Built only a couple of years. Heavy duty tractor, heavy front axle, solid 3pt hitch and thick drabar. Makes a good loader tractor. Power shift and eight speed.

I believe it was built at the same time, believe they were an 8 sp instead of powershift. Can't remember if they had outboard planetaries or not, don't think they did,but not sure.

Big Orange,

They were offered with either the 8 speed or the powershift, and used a bar axle instead of the outboard planetaries. I understand that they were only built from 1970 thru 1972, and fewer than 500 were built, with the majority of those built during the 1970 run.
