Does anybody know what sort of clips were used on the ends of the spark plug wires where they connected to the plugs? I've looked through several Case L parts books, operating manuals, and sales brochures, but I haven't found anything clearly shown.

Yes,
I have a 1931 L and it is all Pretty much original except paint. The plug wire ends are the fork style that are held on by a nut on top of the plug.

Thanks Ryan, thats a big help. Now, what color do you think the original wire was? One reputable supplier says that he's seen N.O.S. replacement wire that is black (fabric covered, of course), but I've seen a lot of restoration photos with yellow or orange colored fabric wire.
