I pulled my Dc this summer, out of 11 hooks I got 9 firsts and a second in 5000 to 6800# classes! I took my CC out Fri. night for the 1st time, I didn't have time to get racing gas and the load jet wasn't big enough, it fell on it's face! Drilled out the load from .052 to .070 and put in good gas. Went to a pull Sat. they had div.2 and open, div5. I took 4 firsts in div. 2- 4000# by 36 feet, 4500 by 51 feet, 5000 by 40 feet and 5500 by .6 of a foot! I ran no cuts at 3mph not normally one to brag, but I was really happy! So don't be afraid to build a case!!

These are theories, Cases are not as light in the front as a JD but better than an IH or MH. I ran a 26' long bar on my DC then weighted my front heavy. right or wrong it has worked for 18 years! 15.5x38 tires. It still has the hyd pump on it! On the CC I can go from 18 to 24" long I am at 20-20 now. I have a smooth cover on it. I weldod some heavy angle on the 3 inch channels then made a vert. adjust that the drawbar can slide through. I pull off the hole behind the engine. Ithink 26 is too long unless you pull a sled without much downpull, which I don't. I will tell more but am limited to space here.

Always glad to hear good news about pulls. There was a pull close to here about two weeks ago and a 1070 took first in both of it"s classes. I didn"t go, but my neighbor did and told me all about it.
