Anything is possible, but could a '53 DC come new with a foot clutch? Thanks, Glenn F.

Hey John, according to my serial number/build card it was originally equipped with a hand clutch. There is a little confusion over my serial number. On the tag the first two digits are clearly 60. Best anyone can tell it should have been 80. The serial number beginning with 80 appears correct in that it was delivered to a dealer about 20-25 miles from where I bought it from a scrap iron dealer 17 years ago. It does not have the original engine on it. Glenn F.

Thanks Don. Tomorrow I'm taking the front right casting and king pin to a machine shop to have the king pin built up and machined and have new bushings made. The tractor will be down for a while so it's no panic. Thanks, Glenn F.
