I"m a greenhorn. Looking for info on this tractor. I just inherited it with some land. It"s a deisel and runs good. Can anyone help?

as used to be james said 1210-1210 almost same, i have books on them or lead your question with elmer. i have a 1210 and 995. would answer any questions you have. very good tractors imo. joe

You said it all: It's a diesel and it runs great!" You will need to provide the model number to get specific advice. Do you have a specific problem?
The number one complaint with david brown tractors is the 3 point hitch. The key is to keep the hydraulic fluid clean. Buy an owners manual and change the transmission filter.
Great tractors despite what your neighbors who have never owned one will tell you.

I found out that I have a model 1212 David Brown. I would really be interested in hearing anything anybody knows about this machine.

The 1212 was made from 1971-1975. 65hp,5660lbs-6100lbs

I wish I had it. Do a search on this discussion forum for 1212, 1210 etc. I also usually do a search for "Elmer" because he is the David Brown expert and has a good answer if anyone does.
