I have a 440 L with a front end loader on it and my manual shows to check and fill from where the hydraulic line is inserted. Although in the manual it shows a dipstick type setup. I was wondering with the hydraulic line there do I use the other area specified in the picture to fill the hydraulics? Also, with the addditional requirements of the front end loader.. how full is full? Without the dipstick, I don't have a good measurement anyhow. Any help on this would be great... One more question to confirm, my manual says 30 wt oil is used in the hydraulics? Is this correct?

Again, thanks for any input & help I can get..

Signed, Just another dipstick : )

The fill hole on the right side of you photo is for the transmission. That takes 90wt or 85-140 oil. The 530's have a dipstick on the right side of the torque tube on top. On your photo that would be on the other side and forward of your hudrulic line. Most manuals want you to check the level with the loader bucket on the ground.
