Hi, I'm Bryce Burden with the Hooker FFA in Hooker OK, and our chapter recently acquired a 1937 Case C from a local farmer to restore in our ag mechanics class. This old tractor has seen far better days and needs a lot of work. The motor is froze and there are countless other problems but our class of experienced mechanics, including myself, with the help of our ag teacher can get it up and running. Does anyone know of a parts supply for this old tractor. Two of the parts high on our list of many right now include a cast-iron radiator cap and an ignition magneto. thanks in advance.

Best Case parts guy I know is Don Livingston in Austin Minnesota. (507) 433-0057. He's very reputable and seems to be able to get most anything within reason for the old Cases and will ship.

The radiator caps are around here and there. The magneto you need should be the American Bosch MJA4A108. Not too really hard to come by. I see both items as well as many more C series parts on E Bay every so often.

I don't know whether you're wanting it to just be a runner or be a correct restoration, but there are many base mount mags out there that would be adaptable to your CC.

No problem. Let me know if I can help. I don't deal parts but have gathered up quite a few unstyled Case parts and some vintage Case literature.

I imagine either the "C" or "CC" owners manuals covered all the models. I have never seen a specific manual for CO,CV,CI,CH or CCS models. Theres really not a whole lot of difference in all of them other than combinations of widths, axle arrangements, tire sizes, air/exhaust stacks and with or without turning brakes. I have a manual for 1930 to 1934 C's., but not for sale. I see manuals for many old machines fairly regularly on E Bay. Thats where I obtained all mine.

Pictures of two COs with orchard tin can be found on page 273 of "150 Years of J.I.Case" by C.H.Wendel. Pg.272 also shows a picture of orchard tin for an L even though I have never heard of an "LO"

Pg.183 of "Full Steam Ahead" also shows two CO's dressed for the orchard as well.
