Hello guys. I spend a lot of time over on the Farmall site, but I just bought my first Case. A 1941 SC. It's not running right now but the motor is loose. The owner said he last ran it in 99 and it's been inside since then. He said he knows it needs a ring gear so looks like I will have the joy of splitting it. The old girl will have to sit for a while. My son has a 41 Farmall B I have to do 1st and we are trying to get our house built. Just wanted to introduce my self cause I'm sure I will have a lot of questions for you Case boys.

Paul, I have spent a lot of time on the Farmall board too. Am in the process of restoring my grandfather's 49 SC. You will find the folks on here as eager and helpfull as the Farmall board. A fine group!

Welcome! I have a 41 SC and thereis a photo of it in the Tractor photos. I don't think yours is a 41 as they had flat wheel centers, the lights were mounted on the fenders, and there was a chrome strip on both sides of the hood. You can find the serial no. on a plate on the dash and stamped on the rear flange of the engine on left side. Good luck with your restoration.

Nice looking tractor and looks like everthing is there--lights, radiator cap, etc. Are you sure it's a '41? I thought the early model SC's had the solid rear wheels. What's the serial #?

No I'm not sure, That's what the owner told me. I need to do a search on the serial #. I have not done that yet.

Paul,
Welcome to the Case board. Find your serial number and put in a new post on this board with DC Tom in the subject (that way you can be quite sure he will see your post). Tom has the Case build cards for many of the Cases from the era in which yours was built. He can tell you the exact day that it was built and where it was originally shipped. Best of luck with it. Tom does all the work and rest of us enjoy reading about it!
