Just purchased a 1937 CC-3 (thanks DC Tom for the build information). This tractor is a misfit. It has a Ford front end under it along with many other “unnatural modifications.” I want to restore it back (closer) to original condition. What, or where do I find a front end for the tractor? I would like to put a wide front end under it, but only if there were some built that way. Did they only build the tricycle front end for them? Are there any other case front ends that will bolt on the original frame? Were do I find general information and pictures of the different makeup of the CC? Is there a source for parts (remember I'm in Utah)? Thanks for your help.

Fred, you can get the front axle fron under a C and put on your CC and make it into a CC-4 lot were made that waymay not set level unless you get the little raiser block used to rais the front end up a little tom

Thanks guys for the information. I think I will stay with the original tricycle type front end.

Tom, sorry to correct you but the spindles are different from a C to a CC4 so even with the spacer block the front end would still be too low. My 2 cents.

It depends upon the block. There is a late model "filler block" that gives about 2" more height. John Salei will have them in stock.
