I'm finally getting around to fixing my moms old VAC (it originally belonged to her grandad, then her dad, now her, and I hope eventually me). I'm doing my best to bring it back to original looking, but everyday functional. (i.e. it's got a 12 V alternator system)

I would love to see a high resolution photo of the right side of the tractor. I think my distributor and coil bracket are not "correct".

Does anyone know if they are making new spark plug covers? And isn't there a little wooden thingy that goes in there as well? Any body got a good photo of those items?

Here is a photo of my VAC (the oil filter housing is not installed in this picture, nor is the sparkplug tin shield), but from the books I read, I believe this to be pretty correct, though that was not a huge thing for me.

Anyway, hope it helps.

I believe there is the metal spark plug cover on ebay at the moment. I don"t have any close ups, but here are some pictures of my VAC
