I don't know what it is about this model of tractor, but it seems like their are a lot of serial tags missing. I was missing the serial number on my 530, but luckly I was going through my grandpa's old paper work and found the serial number on a loan he made back in the 60's.

Here's the way it is. On the Ag tractors, the ID tag was on a trim panel that covers the lower half of gas tank and side of instrument panel and hangs down another 4 to 6 inches. If that panel is gone , so is the tag. As far as anyone knows, there are no hidden PIN on the machines. I guess that they were numbered at the end of production and while on the line they were just assembled parts that were indistinguishable from one and another. Check archives as this was covered a few years ago. Anyway, a 530 is a nice machine to run, hope you enjoy yours. Yours should have draftomatic, which had some advantages to Caseomatic. Books -reprint copies- are still available from Case.

If it is anything like my '64 430, the answer is no. One chance might be if there is some documentation tucked away with purchasing information on it.
