My tractor is in pretty good shape with a front end loader. The loader is not an original DB but works well with this tractor. I was wondering what I may ask for a price for this since I want to sell it. Not too many people are looking for DB tractors in N. Michigan and I think it may be hard to sell. I seen at the local kubota dealership that there are 2 885's sitting there for about a year now.

Re: Case 770 in reply to Brian Holder, 09-16-2006 18:31:46
Brian, I have a Case 770 diesel, powershift and it came with a Case 70 loader. It doesnt have a cab. I paid 4900.00 for it and it needed/ still does, some work. The brakes were out, PTO kept spinning, none of the gauges worked, and had a few leakes. I got all the major stuff fixed at a cost of 3700.00. It still needs the gauges fixed, and a paint job. The sheet metal was straight, and tires about 80%. It ran strong from the day I got it. the previous post is right, its a little steep unless it is cherry.I didnt care because I really wanted a 770. They are a very sturdy tractor for their horsepower class. I think they can be found cheaper. I really dont think you would be disapointed with a 770 in general. Sorry to be so long winded, I just thought I would give you something to compare to. Rob

my 995 has one job to cut with a 700hd kuhn disc mower, which it handles. in good shape no loader. what would it cost you to purchase a tractor to handle a 1300 lbs on back and run a 50 horse impemlent. i would be interested if closer.case sold many simular tractors do some reserch of case type tractors with loaders fore some idea.around here (texas) it would take a minuman 5000.00 to replace mine with capable tractor, and good quality to use daliy. joe
