I am looking for points and cap for a magneto on my 52 case di and also for rod bearings.

Check with Don L. on your parts, 507 433 0073.

I believe the LA had insert rod bearings in 1952, possibly D also.

If it has babbit bearings then most likely all you will need to do is check them for clearance with plastigage get it at any auto parts dealer. Instructions are on the box.
You may just get by with removing a few shims to bring it back into specs. If not then be prepaired as it cost about $100 per rod to rebabbit them. Walt

D I does not have rod bearings Babbit rods and shims
