Looking at a 70 case agri-king diesel, start's good, fair condition, rear tires 50% front need replacing, comes with band duals.Cab is in fair condition,5800 hrs on tach. What would be a fair price for this tractor ballpark??And are these a reliable tractor as far as engine and trans??Are these hard to find a loader like some case models??Any help would be apprieciated,
Thank you,
Tim

Any loader for a 970 or 1070 will fit on a 1170. Before you buy this tractor for loader work go drive the tractor for 20 minites going from forward to reverse and back like you were using the loader. I dont think you will like the clutch or the shifter for loader work. The 1170 is a brute for heavy tillage. A970 or 1070 with powershift is a nice loader tractor. Stan

One of the most reliable engines and transmissions ever built. VERY fuel efficient too!!!!! I think KOYKER makes a loader for them. Excellent loaders.

Had an 1170 with a 895 Allied loader.Had the only set of mounting brackets Allied ever made for an 1170.Engine and transmisson are reliable.Sold mine 2 years ago for 7500,tractor had 3500 actual hrs,and sold the loader for 3500,both were very nice.
