Have not herd one comment on the 30-60 Case Heavy Weight that sold for over 150,000$ at aucton. I beleive this is bragging rights for top dollar paid for a gas tractor. What do you think Case fans?

Some one may correct me on what I was told at the sale, It is believed that this two cylinder may be the only one left of it’s kind, and The CASE museum is without one of these machines, Making this the only tractor in there collection missing,
If any one is interested the 30-60 twin went to Chicago. Buy the way it makes no difference to me what machine may have, this or that better, I still like my CASE
VIVA VIVA VIVA! And that just came from an Irish man.

I think in all Cigs Jacobsons sale was definitely a BROW raiser for me. I met Bernie Bias in MN. And we rode together to Brocket ND. I must ad the CASE eagle went for $8900 And the 10 bottom Plow went for $8800.
Talk about your major players, I seen a lot of the big dogs there, (way out of my league)
There were guys from the JICCA and the Heritage Clubs WOW what a show.
Bernie rode bridesmaid on a couple of machines.
I only was bidding on one. Nothing came back with us from the sale.
But we did pick up a 570 air port tote in Grand Forks ND.
Oh I plumb forgot to mention that I stopped on the Mississippi to see Ed and Carla Schuth on the way through (Carla is VP of the JICCA) they have a beautiful collection of CASE machinery and memorabilia.
If you’re ever in their neck of the woods make sure you stop and see them.

Buy the way the 30 60 went for $152,500.00

It brought a hefty price, but at the original oscars sale in montana, a big honky titan tractor brought quite a bit more.

We have an enemy mudding the waters. This person goes by the name of Red Blooded. We don't need this kind of thing going on in our page. He or she can go to the John Deere page and play if they want.Misery loves company!!!

Yes I know, I commented on his cutdown on the original message and he wrote me pesonally and said it was a joke to his brother or something, but then went on to tell me that if I wanted to get over being sad I need to get a red tractor. I don't know where he gets the Ideal that I am sad, because I said I didn't think it was right to run someone elses tractor in the ground.

Sorry I got a little carried away. There's three things you don't mess with in Wisconsin,Green Bay Packers,Beer, and J.I.Case.Not in that order. As to that tractor sale, that must of been one heck of a auction.I was truely impressed.I can see that even the not so rare Case' are raiseing in price(DC SC ect). Why do you think that is? I know in my area you used to be able to buy a good DC for a few hundred bucks. Now they sell for close to a thousand for a unrestored tractor.Any thoughts?

THE PRICE WILL ALWAYS GO UP.IF THEY PAY A HIGH PRICE FOR SOMETHING,THE NEXT TIME THE PRICE WILL BE HIGHER.WHAT EVER THE MARKET WILL BEAR.ALL COLORS OF TRACTORS ARE INCLUDED HERE.WITH THE INFORMATION HIGHWAY SPREADING LIKE IT IS:THEY WILL SEE WHAT THINGS ARE SELLING FOR AND THEIR RARITY.THIS WILL MAKE THE PRICES GO UP.I REMEMBER A WHILE BACK SOMEONE POSTED A TRACTOR FOR SELL REALLY CHEAP.BUY THE TIME I WAS TO PURCHASE IT,10 PEOPLE HAD POSTED THAT THE PERSON COULD GET 3 TIMES THAT AMOUNT.MY "DEAL" FELL THROUGH.THANKS,INFORMATION HIGHWAY.OH,WELL!
