My dad has a case 210b 195? the engine would not turn over something was binding up. We discovered it was the governor that is riveted to the cam shaft gear had came loose. It ruined the cam gear and there is nothing left of the governor. Does any one know if this is a common problem. And where can you get parts or is there a better fix like a external governor. We do need a serviceable cam shaft gear. Any help would be appreciated thanks

Hazel, the gear is the same one that is used on a VAC i think the number is VT 540?? I think this is a pretty common problem.. we were just at the dealer the other day running numbers to see what other engine used the same gear. good luck
