the unit on e-bay is a cutdown windolf F with a different engine. this one was used in basements.(later the model line was sold and called an alligator) it is not a beetle, i have pics of both crawlers, click on the link. thanks, marv

Tiis looks like a old Windolph Later it became the Alligator They had 2Cylinder Wis. Engines ???

looks like your might be right L Schreck just found the info. on it made in the early 60s possibly 62-63 by alligator tractor co. inc. St louis missouri they had a wi.twin gas or a 1 cyi. deutz diesel

If it's the one billed as a Caterpillar D2 it isn't. It is a Massey 2244 or a Massey 200.
