on the 420 right in front of the gas tank there is a porcelain or ceramic block with two connectors on on each end.
What is the official name ? Any one have a part number so I can replace it?
Do you know if it is cracked or wobbly if it will prevent the start of the engine?
I know cars use to have these to on the firewall.
thanks for any and all help.

Has your crawler been converted to 12 volt? IF it is still 6 volts it should not have one. Otherwise, go to a parts store and buy a Chrysler ballast resistor. I think the Wells Ampco number used to be CR106.
